This podcast is one of the best audio dramas I’ve listened to yet. Directly on par with if not better than Darkest Night, and Sayer. Here’s hoping Harlan creates A LOT more stuff for us to enjoy!
No, I’m not going to tell you about it. The way the story unfolds is absolutely best the less you know. I’ve gone through it 3x now and am emphatic about recommending the story to everyone I can. It is most definitely disturbing and unsettling, I’ll say that. But the payoff is well worth it. Jump in with both feet, I promise you’ll not regret it. Big cheers to Harlan Guthrie!!!

Loved every second of it, scratches that body-horror and sci-fi itch I can't seem to get rid of. Fantastic audio quality & story.

Never in all my many times listening to podcasts have I ever heard something this incredible. Somehow I need more shows just like this. Every piece of this story had my jaw to the floor.
Bloody Good Stuff
It's suggested you go into this podcast blind and I agree that makes for the best experience. So, forgive me if this review is vague. Deviser had me nauseous, on the edge of my seat and unable to stop listening. If you can handle gore and body horror, if you enjoy dark themes, if you love a spooky Sci fi, give it a go.

Brilliant voice acting and use of sound! Found the podcast after they posted the first episode on the malevolent page and I love it just as much. Super immersive and great story telling. Just wish it wouldn't end and that there were more podcast like this!
Beautiful
An absolute must-listen to all sci-fi horror fans. Tickeld me silly in the same vein as Pandorum, Moon and SOMA before. The voica acting and sound micing are top notch. Just make sure not to listen while eating!

If you like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Event Horizon, or Moon, this is a must listen! It's truly chilling while at the same time fantastic fiction! I listened to this on a train and the sound quality was so good, I kept thinking noises in the podcast were regular trian noises. If you like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Event Horizon, or Moon, this is a must listen! It's truly chilling while at the same time fantastic fiction! I listened to this on a train and the sound quality was so good, I kept thinking noises in the podcast were regular trian noises. I wanted to force myself not to binge listen the series, to savour it over a number of days. Well, finished it by day two lol. It is an incredible journey of hope, disbelief and horror. Thanks for the ride Harlan Guthrie! One of those series that you want to listen to over and over again.

Incredible
If you are a fan of Malevolent, you will be a fan of Deviser. The writing, acting, production and editing are above and beyond. I only wish there were more episodes to fuel my addiction. Thank you for such amazing work.

Another Spectacular Piece from Harlan Guthrie
This is a great sci-fi horror series, audio quality is top notch and I truly can't listen to this late at night alone in my house without getting spooked!!
